Overview
The AutoSol Modbus Slave can provide an RTU/PLC like interface to any software that has an OPC compliant server interface. The RTU/PLC interface in AutoSol Modbus Slave supports the Modbus protocol and will respond to Modbus requests sent by a Modbus Master. This can allow efficient communication between distributed HMIs and a SCADA Master over low bandwidth connections. When combined with AES, the AutoSol Modbus Slave becomes a protocol translator that can convert almost any SCADA protocol to Modbus for communication with legacy SCADA Master systems.
